A Bit More About Lindsay
Born in Blairgowrie in Scotland I moved to England with my parents when I was just 14 years old. I trained to become an electronics engineer but chose to follow a career in the music business as a freelance drummer and percussionist. This work involved a lot of traveling where I saw the world and experienced many diverse cultures including a chance encounter in Istanbul, Turkey with a Chinese martial arts teacher. This very gentle but powerful man had a profound effect on me when he introduced me to Tai Chi as a martial art as well as Chi, life force energy.
This was my first true experience of energy and 'Going Within' and was amazed at its strength and healing power so began to study it through Tai Chi.
Although it was all very new to me I felt a knowing about energy, it was like an old friend I'd not seen for a long time but one I knew intimately.

After many years on the road I decided to settle down and changed career into the high pressure world of sales where at the turn of the century, I found myself in a place of work where the daily stress of commuting and very demanding job meant I started to experience physical and emotional changes. I was climbing the corporate ladder and living an external life which completely blinkered me to my own inner feelings and thoughts. Through this period of my life I had lost touch with Tai Chi and energy work and certainly wasn't 'going within', in fact I had lost sight of who I was and had become very dissatisfied with life. I was happy on the outside but desperately missing something on the inside.
At this point a very close friend recommended a Reiki Healer as a way to help me with my stress. This re-introduction to energy healing and 'Going Within' was a huge turning point for me with the realisation that I was in search of something very deep within me, I just did't know what that was........ could this be a mid-life crisis, a passing phase or had I become disconnected from my True Self?
This is when my journey truly began and it became a personal quest to discover why I was so unhappy and dissatisfied with my life even though I had an extremely successful career in sales and was, "living the dream"!
My quest became my passion and for 15 years I studied and practiced a variety of healing methods and change techniques including Reiki, NLP, Hypnosis, Spiritual Healing, Time Line Therapy, Tai Chi, Holistic Healing, Qi Gong, Life Coaching, Regression Therapy, EFT, Energy Healing, Sound Healing and Meditation.
I continued to work in the City for most of these years but found myself becoming increasingly unsettled. My personal life was also becoming turbulent where I experienced some very traumatic life changing events and it was from this place that I found what I'd been searching for.....
My quest had brought me to a place of Peace, Peace with myself, and this heart centred Peace naturally brought inner happiness at the very deepest level.
It is now through this experience and with a passion I believe that "If You Don't Go Within, You Go Without" and it is my aim to help people to inspire positive and empowering change within themselves on a physical, mental, emotional and spiritual level.
I now fully embrace a holistic, organic and spiritual life and run a successful practice in Deeping St James on the Lincolnshire/Cambridgeshire border.
I also practice in St John's Wood, London.
I absolutely love the outdoors and spend as much time as I can in nature and true to my Scottish roots don't even mind when the weather is a bit dreich! I still write, record and perform music and produce my own meditation CD's as well as working on a solo album project which I hope to complete in the next year.
Thank you for taking the time to find out more about me and my work.
Live from your heart with passion.

In Syd's own words; 'I turned around, looked out the picture window at the ocean, and it was like being sucked down a tunnel. All of a sudden, I was buzzing and therewas white light all around me, just buzzing, buzzing, and I was in the middle of this light. Nobodycould see it, Just me. And it was like I was captured in this white light, and it was just buzz, buzz, buzz. Right there and then, I realised the true meaning of God. I started to cry.
I turned around to (my wife) Barb, and I said, 'I'm home. I'm free. I've made it. I've conqureed this world. This means to say that you and I will be travelling all over the world. We're going to change psychology and psychiatry so millions of people will be healed.'

"For the past 15 years I have been helping people overcome limiting beliefs and phobias and helping them to be the best they can and for them to live their lives to their full potential. I'd been using a variety of change techniques including NLP, Hypnosis, Time Line Therapy, Energy work, Thought Field Therapy and a whole bunch of phsycology strategies when I came across the work of Sydney Banks and something he called the Three Principles.
Sydney Banks was a Glaswegian Welder who one day had a spontaneous enlightenment experience. The experience changed him so fundamentally that his colleagues didn't recognise him and his life transformed. For the next 36 years he travelled the world speaking to tens of thousands of people from all walks of life. Multiple psychologies formed around his work - Neo-Cognitive Psychology, Psychology of Mind, Health Realisation but it his work and understanding of the Three Principles that has helped and transformed so many thousands of peoples lives.
The Three Priciples are Mind, Consciousness and Thought and most importantly because we are working at such a deep level these are not the Personal Mind, Personal Consciousness or Personal Thought but the Universal Mind, Universal Consciousness and Universal Thought. "
